Smart card
Delivery of smart cards abroad
NOTE! It is important this is performed before ordering your smartcard in relation to the Corona pandemic!
We send the smart card to the address you registered when ordering. If you have an address outside Norway, you will receive smart cards and letters with PIN and PUK codes to this address.
The smart card is temporarily suspended until you have completed a credential check at one of the following instances:
- Embassy
- Consulate
- Notary Service
The instance will take a copy of your valid ID and approve the copy with their stamp, date and signature.
Valid identification documents:
- Passport
- European identity card (Identity Card)
NOTE! After you have placed the order you will receive an email from Payment-id informing you as to how you should send your approved copy.
